Funkwerk Security Communications presents TETRA and DECT terminals
Salzgitter, April 2012 – Funkwerk Security Communications Gmbh, leading manufacturer of innovative personal emergency signal system solutions, presents its range of TETRA and DECT terminals at SVIAZ from 14 to 17 May 2012. The radios and handsets create an optimal communications platform for a modular security system that is certified and standards-compliant.
"Through our participation at this international telecommunication, control, IT and communication services exposition in Moscow, we wish to turn the spotlight on our competency as a manufacturer of high-performance DECT and TETRA terminals for the industrial sector", explains Hans-Gerd Krause, AREA Manager, East European countries. A particular highlight is the world-first presentation by Funkwerk of the intrinsically safe FT4 S Ex handheld radio, which is immediately available for the 410-470 MHz frequency band and is certified in accordance with the most stringent European ATEX and international IECEx directives for use in hazardous (dust and gas) environments.
The latest generation of funkwerk FC4 personal emergency signal (PES) devices provides security for lone workers and those in hazardous environments or situations.
In the case of the robust DECT industrial handsets, great importance was attached to the meaningful presentation of telephony activities and rapid response times.
Our intrinsically safe (explosion-proof) devices are available for chemical and utility companies, refineries, etc.
The sturdy, dustproof and splash-proof (IP 65 – resistant to jetted water) casing makes the FC4 S a personal emergency signal device that satisfies the highest requirements.
"Today our clients expect flexible and reliable security and communications solutions," comments Funkwerk director of international sales, Dietmar Schöps. "Funkwerk has at its disposal in-depth know-how and diverse experience, allowing us to satisfy all these client requirements. With more than 40 years’ experience, we are leaders in the field of personal emergency signal (PES) systems for industry, the healthcare sector and public authorities. We are pleased to be able to demonstrate this to our guests at SVIAZ in Moscow."
